And here’s a Valentine’s Day word search that I made. Then I overthought it and worried that it was too stereotypical. But then, why not? Do you have any ideas for words I could have used?
We’re having a small party at the dollhouse, and we have a new guest – a little monkey!
Of course, this monkey is bananas about Valentine’s Day!
(And she promises that she’s not related to the monkey that stole Kyria’s food in Taiwan!)

And today – Feb 13 – is Galentine’s Day, so I want to tell you how happy I am that you’re my galentine! This was delightful! LITTLE MONKEY WITH BANANAS. We encountered monkeys at several temples in Cambodia and one of them jumped on one of our group members and stole his water bottle. I am low-key terrified of monkeys in the wild. I love all animals! But I don’t want, you know, rabies or something. Or lice! Eeep. Anyway, no monkeys jumped on me so that was happy news.
I love those little sweetheart candies – gosh, it’s been forever, I should find some – and I also love a word search! I have been jetlagged this week but am feeling mostly human today, so a word search will be right up my alley.

The dollhouse candies are plastic ones that I found at a grocery store – I think they might be dangerous for small children, but perfectly safe in the dollhouse. What a great find! I’m glad you’re back from your trip and feeling human again. I’m sure the jetlag was rough – that’s a long flight.
I always remind myself: it’s a cliche for a reason 😉 Love it! Such festive fun! 😀

Happy Valentine’s & Galentine’s Day! The boys both had their parties yesterday at school and were very excited about that. Although it is not the affair it used to be when I was a kid (no candy, not really a party with food, etc). But they still had a special day.
Lisa, I’m glad your boys had a fun time! When I was a kid, it was all about the treats! I loved making decorated mail boxes and getting a valentine from everyone in the class.
