A Lovely Christmas Card from Tobia

Listen to this post read by Clara from Speechify.

I was delighted to receive a Christmas card from Tobia (from Craftalicious Me) this week! Tobia said that she mailed it from Berlin in early December, so the card must have had a very interesting journey around the world to arrive here on February 3rd!

Receiving a Christmas card in February is just as fun, and maybe even more fun, than getting one in December. The beautiful card is one that Tobia got professionally printed using her own artwork.

A festive greeting card featuring pink and red Christmas ornaments hanging from black strings on a white background.
I love how Tobia made her artwork into festive Christmas ornaments with decorative bows.

Imagine my surprise when I opened the card to find this teeny, tiny envelope for the dollhouse inhabitants! I’m pretty sure I “squeeed” with delight!

A greeting card featuring a small red envelope with white polka dots, a house design, and a handwritten note that reads 'A little note for the dollhouse.'
Look at this adorable little card!

I put it in the dollhouse mailbox.

A hand holding a small red envelope with white polka dots in front of a blue mail mailbox mounted on a brown brick wall.

Jane Austen retrieved it and shared it with the dollhouse crew.

A scene featuring plush bunny dolls and a figurine dressed in a pink outfit, interacting around a table with a polka-dotted envelope in front of them.
“Someone has sent us a card!” exclaimed Jane Austen.

Everyone was enchanted by the sparkly card and sweet message inside.

A small, glittered card with a doll's hand showing beside it.

Thank you so much, Tobia! You made our week!

  1. Oh my goodness, Michelle! This is the sweetest! Tobia is so incredibly creative so it does not surprise me that filters down into pint-sized correspondence as well. Love, love, love this. Thanks for sharing all the pictures and details <3

  2. Haha! That is so cute! What a thoughtful card, for both you and the dolls! You guys are so crafty; I love it! Thank you for sharing!

  3. I am beyond excited that it finally arrived and that the dollhouse inhabitants loved it. I had a lot of fun creating that tiny little card and just had to send one.

Also happy you enjoyed your normal sized card as well.

    1. Tobia, both of your cards brightened everyone’s day here! Thank you so much for being so thoughtful and creative! ❤️

  4. I imagine a Christmas card in Feb would be so fun- so unexpected. I love the dollhouse note as a bonus. So sweet! It does make me wonder Where the card went?

  5. The little card in the little mailbox! I’m just dead! I love getting late Christmas cards. I got one in January (towards the end of the month) and it was so fun.

  6. That’s the cutest thing I’ve seen all day. I was thrilled seeing the human sized card, and thinking how fun to get it in February, but then the tiny one! Ack! Cute cute, so cute.

  7. How sweet that Tobia made that for the dollhouse!
I ordered a card for Anna to celebrate her graduating from flight attendant school from Etsy, but I didn’t realize it was coming from United Kingdom. When it arrived and I saw Royal Mail on the stamp, I got so excited—like a little kid!! I love getting mail from other countries. 🩷💜

  8. Dear Michelle, what a Lovely experience!!! Dollhouse mail that really came from Germany!!! :):):) And Jane Austen reading it aloud to the Gnomes and Bunnies….??? I am overwhelmed!! (In a very ecstatic way!) This is just too much ….teeny-tiny world wide interactive FUN!!! How could anything beat that? Truly… I am almost envious…. but I receive “mail” from Germany every year that contains tiny toys and mini gifts… so I have no right to complain about missing out…. but this is really so much FUN… it will take ma a while to come down off the clouds!!! :):):) Thank you for sharing so sweetly, and thanks to Tobia for “dreaming” it up!!! :):):)
