Decorating My Dollhouse Sewing Room

I had so much fun decorating the sewing room in my dollhouse this week!

The first thing I did was put in some wood flooring. I used a default pattern that came with Photoshop, printed it, and glued it to the floor. Then, I cut out a piece of my Passementerie Beads, Tassels, and Sequins fabric to make a throw rug.

I made a basket full of bolts of fabric. For the basket, I printed another default pattern from Photoshop and glued it to the outside of a 3-ounce paper cup. I used scraps of my fabric designs and foam board to make the bolts of fabric.

I used foam board to make a bookshelf. It was a bit complicated, and it’s slightly wonky, but I’m quite proud of it! I painted it with acrylic craft paint, and just by chance, it matched the sewing machine cabinet. I made more bolts of fabric and a basket of flowers. I added some mini spools of thread from a sewing kit, a tiny box of tiny pins, and my mother-in-law’s beautiful antique thimble.

I love using items I find around the house or making simple little things.

Wishing you a great week!
