Tomorrow is Halloween, and the dolls in my dollhouse decided to have a Halloween party!
The bunny family has taken over the dollhouse and now consists of Mama Bunny, Papa Bunny, and FOUR little bunny children! They invited the neighbor kids, the Bears, over for the party. (The bunny and bear kids were little dolls I found at Family Dollar, and I couldn’t resist!)
It’s funny because I didn’t notice how off-center the pumpkin stem is – but this photo clearly shows it!
I guess this isn’t a costume party – it all happened too fast for me to make costumes. Maybe next year!
Everyone thought treats were more important than costumes! They had cakes, cookies, and bottles of orange pop! (Pop – a word showing that I’m from the NW US, according to what people have told me! What do you call it where you’re from?)
It looks like a fun party!
Wishing you a Happy Halloween, and to finish up this post, here are some Halloween things I made to share on Threads:
So cute, Michelle! Glad you got to have a little play time with the characters and fun accessories!
Thank you, Jodi! It’s fun to get to play once in a while!
This is so sweet and gives me a lot of “feels” because my daughter went through a big Calico Critters stage.
It is pop (not soda) where I live. And comforter (not duvet) and couch (not sofa). I love the quirks of languages!
Thank you, Elisabeth! It’s comforter and couch for me too! Isn’t that funny?
What a fun tea party! I love it! I used to LOVE having tea parties with all of my stuffed toys when I was younger and now I am thinking that maybe I should get them out again now! I still have a lot of them, AND the tea set!
We call it soda (California girl here)!
Hi Kyria! It is fun to play with toys as an adult – I highly recommend it!
MICHELLE! This is so adorable! I want to jump in there and have treats with them! You are so creative. I love all of this.
We call it pop where we live in the Midwest!
Happy Halloween!
Thank you so much, Kari! You are invited to the party!
This is the sweetest thing ever. I’m charmed by your cleverness. Happy Halloween!
Thank you, Ally! That’s so kind of you to say. I hope you have a happy Halloween too!
AHHHHHHHHHHHH
LOOK AT THE TINY TREATS!
I also call it pop because, Canadian!
I love this so much! All the tiny pumpkins, ahhhhhhhh! This is so cute, Michelle!
Nicole, you always have the best reactions! Thanks for making me smile! And of course, pop in Canada!
I love this post and your new little editions. They made me think of the Calico Critters which I am hoping to start collecting for my miniature journey. In NJ we call it “soda” for all of it 🙂 Wishing you a wonderful Halloween!
Hi Michele! I looked up Calico Critters, and I’d say mine are probably a knockoff version. I think they were called Forest Family. The Calico Critters look nicer, with more attention to the clothing. They have so many fun accessories too! I think a lot of places in the US call it soda. It’s fun to notice little differences like that.
So cute, you’re so creative 😍 It’s pop where I come from too in the North of England, it’s also pop in Wales…can’t speak for anywhere else but I love that it’s also pop in the NW US. Thanks for making me smile Michelle, spooktacular post 🎃
Hi Rae! Thank you so much for your nice comment! How fun that North England and Wales also say pop! We visited California once and about got laughed out of town when we ordered a pop at a restaurant. (They go for soda.)
Haha my son goes for soda too thanks to YouTube (and also just to annoy me! 🤣)
Oh no! That’s too funny!
