I was miserably sick all week with a terrible cold. It wasn’t Covid, according to my at-home test, but I still stayed home and away from everyone.
In my seclusion, I made polymer clay gnomes for my dollhouse. I got the idea from reading my blogging friend Nicole’s post (Girl in a Boyhouse), where she talked about her garden gnomes. Of course, I need dollhouse gnomes!
I put a gnome in each side window box and had a spare gnome to go under the doll bed.
Yes, I have a doll bed! I bought the metal frame from Amazon, and it took eight weeks to get here. That’s because it came directly from China! It arrived in a flimsy plastic bag with customs labels all over it, and all four legs were poking through the plastic – and it was perfectly fine, not bent or damaged at all. That’s one tough doll bed!
I used a piece of foam for the mattress, then fiddled and fiddled to get the bedding situated just right. I ended up using pins to hold things in place– so it’s a good thing no one really has to sleep in it! Ouch!
Wishing you a great week!
Your dollhouse gnomes are too cute!
Oooooh, dollhouse gnomes! They’re so cute!
Thank you so much, Amelia Jane! 😊
MICHELLE! I probably say this every single time you post but THIS IS JUST THE BEST. I mean. Gnomes. GNOMES! Tiny little GNOMES IN THE DOLLHOUSE. When I saw this on IG I was delighted, but looking at this on the big screen of my desktop, I am beyond delighted. I mean, how amazing is this! Living the gnome life!
Thank you, Nicole! 😊 The gnomes make me smile every time I see them. I think the world would be a happier place if there were more gnomes in it!
It sure would! Also, sorry, got so distracted by the GNOMES OMGGGG that I forgot to say sorry that you were so sick! Hope you are all better now.
Thank you, Nicole! Almost all better. ❤️
